Winding on a new timing chain

Any tried & tested ways on winding on a new timing chain you would care to share?

I've seen some sort of chain guide....are these any use?

Any help appreciated.

I've done a couple of mercs that way? have a gander on youtube, there's a few vids showing how on there, the first time i did it i took the vid into work on a tablet and palyed it as i did it, very handy !
