have to sell my Griff' after all. Had a strong purchaser but I pulled out of the deal some weeks ago. My Son said he would buy the Griff' in a couple of years time. Now he has started racing and that is swallowing money big time, mostley his money tho But I do want to help out here and there and get me name on the sponsors list (well the only name thus far).

But as I go along to the races with him, I'm his pit lane lackey, my time is limited now for Tiv adventures and I still need to start a business with the old cars.

So its really got to go now which is a bit of a downer really, but can't do it all something has to give and its my Griff'.

Hi Big M, 1st outing at Snotterton, blimey it was freezing cold and a gale force wind. Still I managed to generate a bit of warmth in my bag with lots of warm farts
Nice tent tho, ideal. I certainly will continue the meets when I can, Matts next race weekend is 1/2/3rd April so I should be OK for our Essex meet, is Lotus attending?

As for Matts first race meeting, he lost a brake pin from his front caliper and so the pads jumped out leaving him no brakes, that was first practice session kinda knocked his confidence as this was second time this has occured. We have solved the problem now tho thank goodness.

From a grid of 39 he was 30th on the grid, his starts are always great, he was good at them when he used to do the 1/4 sprints. He made up a number of places from the start but still finished 30th at the end. But he enjoyed the weekend, so did I, made loads of new pals and looking forward to next meeting as much as I'm looking forward to TVR next meeting
