LS3 Throttle Pedal Switch

I have finally ordered my Evo body and would like to order/install the throttle control before fitting the body.

I already have a new ECU and have lengthened the harness myself.

Do I need to purchase ECU and throttle controller as a set or can the throttle controller be purchased separately? If purchased separately then can anyone give me a part number/model number please?

Depending upon the ECU that is used, there are different answers.
Stock GM ECU, yes they should be matched, certain GM ECU can only be used with matched Throttle bodies.
After market ECU, some only use specific DBW throttles, some allow complete modifications.

If you ordered a complete package (ECU, Wire Harness, pedal and senders) they are ussualy matched.

The issue is that I just the ECU and harness. I need to purchase the pedal switch and install before body fit. Then I will be ready to order the engine.

So I need to know type of switch I need to suit my ECU.

The problem would seem to be threefold.
You will need ECU, throttle and engine to match.
When I say engine I'm more referring to the throttle body than anything else but there may be other parts the ECU will expect to be talking the same language.

ok just ordered foot pedal assembly from PWP. As I will also be purchasing the engine and throttle body from PWP, everything should be compatible. Hopefully!

Where did you get the ECU and why did you get it before the engine????

The ecu is from a member on here that bought it from pwp but then decided not to use it. I got the loom with it too so extended it myself.
