Top service - from both a SEAT main dealer & RAC warranty..

Ok ok - I admit it - I've avoided main dealers like the plague for years after hideously costly experience with Vauxhall and utter costly incompetence from Alfa - but bought myself a Seat Altea recently (in my PH defence I needed a moderate load mover and it is the 168hp TDI variant)....annoyingly after 6 weeks of ownership the boot latch system throws a wobbler and wont open...

Aha - RAC platinum warranty in hand with minimal expectations - give RAC a bell - great service - repair agreed no problems - they baulked a bit at main dealer but as the Seat main dealer is my closest garage saw the point & relented - so today with trepidation I take the car in - knowing I'd be liable for the cost of fault diagnosis....

This eve I go to pick up the car - all fixed, cheaty VW diesel fix done, car has been washed & valeted - bag of freebies as dictated by Seat as part of recall (the only compensation UK owners are liable to get I think!) - and Zero bill.......

So as much as it pains me to admit - great service from both RAC warranty - and local main dealer - Holders of Congresbury.....

Feels odd to be able to say something good!!!

We always had good service from Holders when we bought our 1st brand new car from them back in 2001. (Seat Ibiza 1.8T) Are the twin sisters still there?
