Spotted yellow Sagaris earlier today on the A14 westbound between Cambridge and Huntingdon...

Also saw a navy Chim, and purple Cerbera with light conversion, a silver Tuscan, a DB9, and four Bentley GTs, all around yesterday around the A14 and places. What a day!

Unfortunately not us driving it yet, but I'll lay a penny to a pound it was 'our Yellow Peril' with Michael Caine driving it!!!!

He did assure us that it would be treated most carefully............

Pauline,
We're off to Castles today so we should see your Sagaris again. Steve's taking his camera so we'll try and get some photos posted later. When are you picking her up?.
Cheers

When I looked at it on Saturday, I mentioned a couple of places the Ray might want to take his drill to on the car, and drill some small holes.

Dont flame me on this, it was a good suggestion for water to drain from certain collection points on the car.

Answers on a postcard...

I agree. The rear diffuser looks great for collecting water and road debris!

The rear diffuser has holes in the bottom of it so water should drain.

Really? Just the debris then (the car I saw had stones and leaves and alsorts in there....). I didn't see a drain hole, though I'll take your word for it!

Clearly I have missed something here...

Pauline - your gonna take the Sagaris off of Castle then? What happened with the T440, or did you give up waiting?

Alan.

Ok chaps,
Please listen up.....If you were waiting to pick up your new car from the dealers, and you keep reading posts on here from people finding fault as to how this sould be, and that should be,ie a drain hole here and there, and "your bound to get stone chips there" How do you think the new owners must be feeling??????????
I know i would be well pd off, so lets wish Mr & Mrs peril all the best with the new Yellow Peril 2. And just remember how long they have been waiting for the Typhon!!!
Rant over...Dave

Oh Valhalla....I'm touched....thank you.....

I must admit it's a bit unsettling to hear of the car being seen all over the place and not us driving it.......

But...that's what you get for buying a Dealer demo car before they are ready to sell it!!!

Obviously Castles cannot release the Sagaris until they have their next demo ...and we were happy with that as we have both Ian and Michael's assurances that the car will be treated very carefully bearing in mind it has new owners and it's us!!!!

As a new TVR out of the box, there are naturally bound to be issues over design and these will...or are already coming to light.....and will be discussed....

That's fine......it's gonna happen........

The Sagaris has been armour fended in all the right places....so I'm not too concerned about stone chips.......

It should be nicely run in and ready for some action by the time we get her!

Al......we still have the deposit on the Typhon.......Ray would still like to buy one....but we have been advised that we are not likely to see it for a considerable while...(and I mean a CONSIDERABLE while!!!)

Ian advised Ray to go and look at the Sagaris and it was love at first sight, especially now they have filled in the gaps which were an obvious design issue.

The colour was right, the interior was right for Ray, although a little too black for me..... and he was tired of waiting......

Whilst we were at Castles finalising the deal...another three people came into the showroom and tried to buy it.........

The money it releases will mean that I can go ahead with a project I have been wanting for some time and hopefully we will be back ready to buy the Typhon when it finally goes into production.

I have every confidence in Castles that the Sagaris is being looked after.....it is frustrating when so many people are spotting it being driven by anyone but us.

I am really hoping we will have it in time for the 'Yellow Meet'.

Ian..........'Yellow Meet' 24th April!!!!!

Thanks for your concern Valhalla......
