I've not altered my brain with chemicals stronger than caffeine this month, so here I am right now, rested, sober and not hung-over.

What do I fill the day with? Guess the normies will be traipsing around the local shopping mall or supermarket with the wife and kids levitating on heelys in tow, getting in my way, or getting stuck in traffic en route if I'm foolish enough to go there, so I'd rather not do that. Pretty much everything involves getting stuck in traffic thus maximising my stress levels.

Honestly I don't know what to do with myself. Is getting an x-box or playstation the answer?

XBOX One and Forza Motorsport 6 (for real world race tracks) or Forza Horizon 3 (for open world driving) and say goodbye to around 80-100 hours!

Brainstorm ideas for all the things you want to do in life, and pick one to do this weekend. wink

sport? I've been for a 21.6km run off road and am too knackered to do much else now.

Seriously? I never have enough time to do the things I want to do. Sounds like you need a hobby or two. Don't find something just to fill time, find what you want to do. Make things? Wood or metalwork? Models? Photography, painting? Sports? Swimming, hillwalking, cycling? Learn something like sailing, flying, climbing? Project car, restore a classic? Gardening?
I love an hour or two on the xbox but its more like watching telly rather than doing something fulfilling.

Can second that! Did a 5k Parkrun in Darlington, raining, flooded paths but managed a PB so happy.
Then onto EE, Halfords, Aldi, Lidl, Morrisons for fuel and home to unpack. Lunch now, then taking a seat out the TVR to add a lumbar pack then if time allows, replace a thermostat on the 7, before walking the dogs, tea, etc

Weekends, huh never anything to do

If its just traffic that causes your stress levels to rise then id suggest moving house.

We live out in a Derbyshire town and its great, up early in to town get the jobs/shopping done.

Then its either home to watch a film or we ll go for a long walk with a few pubs involved and a meal.

On a sunday its pretty boring for me as I like to be up early and sort my stuff out for work as I never know if im going to be away all week. (Lorry driver)

Weather dependant might wash the cars, go in to town for a coffee.

We try and make sure "WE" as a couple spend a lot of time together as in the week we can be like passing ships.

Really?

Man up guys... get a hobby, learn something new, get out and go somewhere you've never been before. Life is short, don't waste it.

Is there any way I can buy your spare time?
Jeez, I'll be making a wiring loom for the rest of today, then home for tea and a glass or two. Been asked to go and sing in the local pub as I haven't been for a while, and they seem to like me.
Tomorrow it will be peanut butter on toast and coffee for breakfast. Then clean out the parrot's cage and give him a bath. Then tidy up and maybe come in and do some more on the Lotus.

Weekends boring? I should be so lucky.

Oh, there's that new project to pick up and another car to go and look at.....

Plan a - Learn an instrument. Start a band. Get some gigs and have more poontang than you can handle.

Plan b - Xbox is a good hobby too but you'll end up wking more than you would than if you'd followed plan a.

This is the Lounge on PH, yes?

Well, to fit in here, go on line and find a woman. Marry her. Shag her. Get divorced. You'll use up all your spare time posting on here about your "feelings" and "not being loved anymore" and finally, "snakes with tits".

Job done!

I take it you've never actually been in a band then.
