Boxster 987.1 window issue

I have recently encountered a random issue with the passenger side window on a 2006 Boxster.

After unlocking the car and closing both doors, I start the engine. I notice the passenger side window would drop and go back up. This is the same as the seal clearing distance.

After this, the same window would drop and rise, again 1/4" (the same as the clearing distance) and the door card/central light would come on, randomly.

At other times, the drop/rise cycle has happened continuously whilst starting/driving the car.

I have already had the lock/door membranes replaced and all the carpets are dry.

A factory reset using computer equipment has also been done.

Does anyone know what else could possibly be wrong?

Possibly the inner door handle microswitch; check the handle seats correctly and activates the switch as it should.

Pull the handle in - you'll see the switch in the handle recess.

When I pull the inside latch slightly the window drops 1/2" and goes back up if I let go.

It's seems sensitive even a slight pull of a few millimetres seems to drop the window. Is that normal?

If I pull the latch without opening the door there's a small point behind the latch which seems to press a switch.

This is working because when I push it with a pen the window moves up and down to clear the frame.

This morning after locking the car the passenger window would drop to clear the seal and the alarm would go off.

This happened a few times. I finally got it to lock.

Noticed this seems to happen after rainfall/cold weather conditions.

Anyone else had similar issues and what they did to fix it?
