Have searched through forum but seem to be getting older threads and there may be newer tyre options.

I have a 1986 Porsche 930 Turbo that requires new tyres.

Options available are;

Bridgestone RE02
Bridgestone S02

What are others running, any other brand? It would also be handy to know whether others are running wide tyres?

Thank you.

S02's have been updated to SO2A. Seem to offer similar grip but much less unique tread pattern. What size wheels do you have? 7&8 or 7&9?

Choices are limited nowadays for 16 inch tyres but you cant really go wrong with the SO2A's

Continental sport contacts, you only get 2 or 3 choices in 245 x 45 x 16.

Depends on the year, factory spec 86 would be on 7&8:

Thanks for the messages.

The car is a factory spec 930 Turbo.

Currently I have;

205's up front
225's on rear

Have been adviced to go for wider on rear but can't seem to find matching set (Ninemeister).
