Trading up between brands
Discussion
Hi
After a great couple of years with my F430, I fancy a change - and have pretty-much settled on looking for a 650S Spider. The F430 was approved from a Ferrari dealer - and I suspect I'll buy a qualified McLaren from a McLaren dealer too.
Is it typically best to trade-in the Ferrari, or would I be best trying to sell the Ferrari back to the Ferrari dealer? A direct trade-in would seem easiest, but presumably the McLaren dealer might wholesale it over to Ferrari - and I'd be paying more margin overall?
Micky

Give Warren Butt at Meridien a bell. If its low miles with full Ferrari service history he will give you a fair trade bid. After a great couple of years with my F430, I fancy a change - and have pretty-much settled on looking for a 650S Spider. Dealt with him a number of times and he gave me top money without any hassle.
McLaren dealers don't seem to be so established or very good at Used cars at the moment IMHO.
Rybrook at Brum and Bristol have specialised used car operations so get a px price and then try Meridien to see what works out best
These guys are an official Ferrari dealership so will probably want your F430 - they equally have a lovely high carbon, low mile 650s spider for sale
