Big job or little job?
Then there's the bleeding bleeding of the cooling system afterwards.
Any tips greatly appreciated.

Shouldn't be difficult to bleed the system if that's all you're doing, the swirl pot is the highest point in she system so just fill it up and work from there. Get yourself a thin screwdriver to push up the hoses to break the seal if they've been on there for years, wd40 makes it easier to get them on and off too. The 4 bolts are a bit annoying to undo, but not the worst job that you can do on a chim, probably worth replacing.

Since they changed the formula slightly WD40 is best kept away from rubber as it now rots it. Try something like Duck Oil instead.

Oh and if you're reusing the sensors it's a lot easier to crack them off whilst the swirl pot is still bolted to the car hehe
