cobra alarm

anyone got a cobra alarm fitted? I know the left (big button) sets the alarm, but what is the small button for? When I try to use it, the alarm makes a whiny noise then after a while goes off, usually when I am in the pub. Any ideas?

I have the same. I think it is a panic button. (no instructions from prev owner).

OK question for you is it a permetric alarm ie stick hands in when top down or is it just a door alarm?

Do you also have the engine-inhibit thingy as well (pain for opening the boot)

It's the permetric one, previous owner did'nt have a clue either. Not had a problem with the boot.
