Hi all

Does anyone use the above or have a senior contact within the firm? They are a bunch of cowboys!

Long story short, we were reviewing costs and we can trim this cost hugely so contacted them to give notice. They then pointed out that we are in a 5 year contract which was news to me as the only director and only authorised signatory of the company. I asked for a copy of the agreement and it was signed by a junior admin person. As the company was only 5 people at that point my argument is that i've not signed it so therefore it's invalid and tehy should have done their due diligence on who had the authority to sign a contract which they've not done.

Several calls later I've been argued with, promised calls back and for them to 'sort it' but i've still had nothing back from them. I therefore need to take it to the next level legally or via a more senior director within the business.

Any advice appreciated.

Can't help - sorry - but doesn't sound like they're cowboys, to be honest.

On balance surely the fault lies on your side, with regards to letting somebody sign a contract without authority?

Good luck.

they've just got an admin person to sign it to get a sale. I'm calling them cowboys because no one gets back to me or is interested in sorting out the issue, it's as if they have got their commission and now don't care!!

That admin person shouldn't have signed though. That's your problem, not theirs.
