Passat - 3 child seats in rear?

Hi

My wife has a 2006 B6 Passat and we have a new addition arriving later in the year to join our 5 and 8 year olds. We would rather keep the Passat than change it, if possible, but struggling to find 2 high back boosters and a rear facing baby seat that can fit in the rear.

Anyone tried and succeeded in this?

Not three individual seats, but Google 'Multimac' - not cheapest, but a friend had their system in a similar size car..very well built system..

I'm actually planning to get one of those for my 3 series BMW, but we were hoping to avoid the need to get a second for the passat (circa £1500 each).

They do look great though, and I was impressed when I sent a few questions to their info email address that the founder/CEO emailed me back personally with a very helpful reply within about 20 minutes.

I only heard good things in terms of the service provided..

They're not the sort of thing you'd want to be moving between cars, as the very sound build quality is reflected in their weight - but a very good alternative to changing cars.

They do pop up on ebay (and look to sell very well).

Yeah have noticed that. Will likely go new when getting one for the BMW though (which as mentioned above, will stay permanently in there).

Still think there is a chance we can fit three regular seats (well two high back and one baby seat) in the passat though, if anyone knows any regular seats that fit.
