SPORTS EXHAUST

Anyone know the best source for a reasonably priced sports exhaust which will fit my 4.3 Chim? Will do the fitting work at home.. Looking for more/better noise any performance increase is a bonus! Somebody out there must have been here before!

this has been covered loads of times before I think. If your not worried about performance you can mod your current exhaust to make it louder without having to go for a new system. Depending on the mods you go for you may have trouble with tack day noise levels.

If you want a new system I think 400 quid is about the going rate.
I have just taken the exhaust off mine and its easy just undoo the front take the lid off type thing off the middle box undo the anti roll bar and slide out.

Cheapest way to get more noise is to take the stuffing out of the silencers - about £80 I think.

I know we have been here many times before, but as I'm about to take the exhaust off to do the exhaust mod, could anyone clear up the exact procedure for removing the wadding.
Is the silencer box to be cut open ? I which case I need to find someone to weld stainless and where am I cutting to make this easy ?, and are the new sections of pipe welded in or clipped ? anyone know what length/dia. I will need to do a straight thro' mod ??
Would like to get this clear before I remove it and find out it's not the job I was thinking.
