God dammit! all because of a faulty heater! Not the dealer's fault, but the warranty company want to send someone to look at the car due to the expense of a new ECU, switch, and other parts associated with the heater, apparently, they have all burnt each other out in a 'domino effect' Would have been picking Tam up today, ready for long w/e if it wearnt for that pesky warranty company
So my car's in bits at Mr Hendry's (who, after a shakey start, have been great and keeping us informed every step of the way!!), and my home PC's in bits, awaiting a new mobo!! My life's in bits at the moment!!! lol

Chan don't seem to mind, she's got the Pug cabrio as curtosy car (why is that, when I'm having to drive in the Clio!!!!)

I know the feeling. Hendrys got my car back from the bodyshop yest and called me right away so I didn't go collect it. Apparently the bodyshop have done a really bad job of the repainting/resealing around my rear light lens. My car is now back at the bodyshop.

I've got one of Hendry's old Impreza Estates (non Turbo before you ask), still it's less girly than a 206 and we'll be going to the garden centre this weekend :-)

Hope it rains all weekend.

Because it's Easter w/e, the guy from the warranty company isn't coming 'till next Tuesday/Wednesday!, so they can't do any more work on my car 'till after that!
Hope you get yours back soon Trefor, damn bodyshops

Yeah, enjoy. I'm going to groan every time we pass a TVR this weekend though. Mind you my neighbour still had the hardtop on his 911 last I saw. Jessie.

Planning a trip down to deepest France for a jaunt along the route Napoleon at the end of May bank holiday week so I'd rather the niggles got sorted now. (Hmm, Trefor heads off to check the 'ring timetable).

Chan's going up to Hendry's this AM also!, she's getting my MoT and license which I left in the glove box, in case the cops stopped me because of my plate! lol
She should get a full update, I hope, and I want my Tam back ASAP as a matter of urgency now!!!!
Coupled with my Tam's bad luck, I bought a new mobo and PSU for my home PC, and it still didn't work, so I have now had to order a new CPU!!! Don't know which is costing me more!!! lol No car, no home PC for almost 2 weeks, am I being punished!!!!

Who did you have the warrenty with Chris.
Mine's in this week, no diagnosis yet but the tech mentioned the ecu when I described the symptoms.
I assume they are expensive, my warrenty (RAC) is due to expire soon. I can see allsorts of manouevering about to happen...
& to make things worse I've got a Skoda Labia courtesy car

I 'think' it's with AP warranty, but the price has shot up since I got mine last year, and the guy who dealt with payment initially has since turned out to be a right crook, no secrets there, I think I was one of the last lucky ones who wasn't 'stiched up'
