Hope this might help someone else who's scratching their head! I bought Roadangel about 8 months ago, which was great when it worked, but this was less than 50% of the time. The symptom was that it would drop the signal and o most occasions could not re acquire it. I have had 3 Roadangel units, 2 extension antennae, and numerous trips to the local Roadangel dealer who luckily is local and very helpful, especially as I did not buy the unit from him. (www.radar-detector-shop.co.uk)
I also have Navtrak ADR on my car (the one with a credit card sized validator you need to carry with you) I asked Navtrak at an early stage if interference was possible and was told not. Eventually we concluded that there must be a connection and disconnected the Navtrak for 5 days. Hey presto Roadangel works perfectly. I have now had the Navtrak antennae re positioned and everything works fine now. Neither Roadangel nor Navtrak believed that they had had this problem before.
Maybe someone else can benefit from my experience.
