Hydraulic trolley jack for 993 turbo

Anyone recommend a good quality hydraulic trolley jack that would fit under a 993 turbo?

Don't know how much clearance you need:

SIP Omega 3 Tonne rapid lift (i have this)

With the lowest starting point and the highest lift, this Omega had its rivals on the ropes from the start. What's more, the Rapid Lift took us to working height in less than one stroke. A 120mm saddle was reasonable, if a bit of a disappointment compared with others here, and it didn't have a rubber cover. But at £58, it had enough of everything else to make it our pick for premium Best Buy.


Under 40 quid

Halfords 2.5 tonne

The priciest of our budget jacks, Halfords' 2.5 Tonne model was certainly well specified. At 75mm, it had the largest saddle, which it could raise to a class-topping 420mm. The footprint was joint biggest and its 2.5-tonne rating gave it a 0.5-tonne advantage over rivals here. We found 14 strokes to working height annoying, but we'd feel safe working under a car with this one supporting it, so it wins our budget Best Buy award.

I'd be interested too - since I went with the PSS9 kit, I have to use a scissor jack to lift the car slightly such that I can then put a trolley jack underneath. Pain in the arse - oh for the garage space for a 2 post lift..

I don't know whether you want it for emergency use or for day to day, if it is for emergency use I have just bought a Draper airbag jack, will lift 3 tonnes and is inflated from the exhaust, ground clearance won't be an issue as you slot it under the car deflated, paid a smidge over £30 on eBay.

Bought a lovely jubbley low, light, quick lift for my Cup Car from Thames Trailers in Staines 01784 464655.

Blue on silver ally, £126 incl VAT.

but how have you managed to fit the rubber funnel over the exhaust,

Melv...are these the same as the ones that were on display at the festival.
