My wife runs a custom picture framing and printing business which also encompasses her photography work , we'd like to separate them so the photography side stands alone . We have a few ideas floating around but would welcome suggestions for names , main focus of work is equine/rodeo ,animals , and sport , but don't want to limit ourselves through the name .
Tnx in advance .

Where are you based? That could be built into the name I guess...

Probably best not to use Seskwaatchean in the name as people will have problems finding it on Internet searches

Just use her name, people will be hiring her, not a company name. Use a different name for the framing etc.

Don't use a pun as the URL. Keep it short. Ensure the name is not one frequently spelt incorrectly. Avoid characters that require a shift key depressed. Don't use a pun. Make sure it is easily remembered. Keep it familiar. Have a name where the logo is a clue to the name. Don't make it too clever. Don't make it too similar to a competitor's.

There are other choices that cause problems, but I haven't made those mistakes yet.

And don't use a pun.

Most professional portrait photographers I see use some variant of their name + photography/studio/type of photography modifier. Whether that's your full name, first name, surname or acronym. For many photographers their name is their brand and it's something a lot of past clients might already be familiar with.

Landscape photographers and sometimes wedding photographers are more likely to use the location.

Having keywords in your domain name is nowhere near as useful for SEO as it once was, but it can be good re-enforcement for people searching that they're getting a photographer in the location or field they're looking.

The main thing is as others have said is that's short, memorable and easy to spell/type. Most people will type it straight into goole/address bar though, which is obviously more forgiving of typos.
