Those Movie Car Experience Days...
Discussion
My old man has his birthday coming up and I was trying to get my sister on-board to buy him a Lotus Driving Academy package, since he owns an S2 111S. However, they appear to have stopped trading or at least no longer promote track day experiences at Hethel (just a factory tour is where the old website redirects you... Exciting!)
He had expressed an interest in those Movie car experience days where you get to drive the likes of a GT40, various muscle cars etc. I'm just trying to figure out how the best way to go about this is, as the same voucher appears for sale on multiple websites / retailers and prices vary wildly.
If this is renowned as a bit of a no no then any other recommendations would be very welcome, we are based in North Hertfordshire if that helps with anything local.

I attended a charity track day at Bovingdon airfield. £25 for 8 laps in a Skyline.
They had movie style cars there.
I think the normal price will be a bit higher, but might be worth looking at.
They had mx5 drift cars. Ferrari challenge car.
And some American muscle.
Will try to find the name for you on Google.

My 11 year old did one of these in an MX5 painted up as lightning mcqueen. On the day there was a General Lee, an Eleanor, a bumblebee camaro, and assorted others, seemed like a well organised day and she really enjoyed it

Did the Car Chase Heroes GT40 experience. For £39 it was far better than the £100 supercar experience my other half did at Rockingham. From the go the instructor got you to push hard, far harder than I would normally have done in an unknown car on a trackday. Really good fun, few queues. Car was clearly a fairly battered replica. Obviously wasn't expecting a £10million+ original but was far from the superformance advertised. Not that it mattered - you were allowed to push it and that's a big deal on these days. Other halfs rockingham experience was "keep it in third all the way round, we won't be going fast as it's a Wednesday etc" and big queues.
This was fun, efficient and cheap. Expect the usual £20 insurance waiver and selling of photos, extra laps etc.
