Has anyone fitted reclining Recaro Speed seats to a 996ttt?

Hi All,
I could use some advice. I have having some reclining Recaros fitted into my 996 turbo. The model is the 'Recaro Speed Reclining Sport seat'.
The mechanics are adamant they dont fit. However the suppliers (in Nottingham, I'm in London) are adamant they will fit. They have a knob turning wheel on each side. Even with say the left one removed on the drivers side (so thus there is only one on the rhs of the seat) they dont appear to fit.
Has anyone fitted these by per chance?
