Hi- after many years of looking I am hoping to take the plunge and get myself a 159. Probably a diesel (although I wouldn't rule petrol out I'd the price difference was big enough) lusso spec with around 50,000 miles on the clock. Hoping for full history, 1 or 2 owner with cam belt etc taken care of. Budget is around £5 to £6k. I would like an idea of what year I should be looking at for that money and where the best place to look is... Auto trader? Ebay?
Any information would be gratefully received.

always worth looking on ALFAOWNER. think the classifieds are down so look in the 159/Brera section. VELOCES sell a lot. although doubt anything in your price range smile

always a few in the PH classifieds too. I always have a look at the 159's. a 1750TBI TI in white would be my choice.

Thanks. The general opinion seems to be voices are overpriced and unpleasant to deal with. Will have a look at alfa owners.

Whereabouts are you? Try Second City Autos in Birmingham. The garage I work at does all their servicing, so we know the cars are pretty decent

I bought my 2.4 lusso from Veloces. It was pretty painless to be honest. They don't discount from the screen price so that may be why people have adverse opinions.

But buy one from somewhere. I love mine.
