Meeting a few friends in Londom next week for dinner. We always end up at somewhere like Dishoom; interesting and delicious food, nice settings, relaxed atmosphere. Went Vapiano last time which has a cool concept of the way the restaurant runs but it was ridiculously busy.

It seems a waste to keep going Dishoom considering how was vast the choices are in London. So any good recommendations for somewhere which isn't the usual affair.

Depends on what you mean by interesting?

Shuang Shaung (Shaftesbury Avenue) is quite interesting in its concept?

Flat Iron on Beak Street for a fantastic steak. Don't think they take bookings though so might have to wait for a table..

There is one in Covent Garden now too which may be more convenient that a long walk down the Kings Road from Sloane Sq
