Evening everyone.

I hope to pick up my first Monaro on Friday, Black 04 version; unfortunately the boot on the 05 is just too small... anyway this makes a trip to Donnington sound the perfect excuse to use up the first tank of juice, or two...

Does anyone have any details / suggestions i.e. pre arrival meet, times, itinerary, etc.

I will be coming from Hampshire with the missus and son.

Multimap tells me that it is about 150 miles from my place so I would aim to leave at least 3 hours before the first event. I would guess that warm ups / qualifying starts pretty early (09.00 or so) therefore I would aim to leave for 06.00. If either of you guy's want to meet en-route can I suggest Toddington services?

the best route for us is : Portsmouth - Southampton - Winchester - Newbury - Oxford - M40 to Warwick and then over to the M1 junction 21 via the M69 then up to the track on the M1...............

it will take about 3.5 hrs as it is 190 miles for us so if we set off about 9.00am we could meet you along the way.....
