The Office (US version).
Discussion
Unbelievable.
They managed to do a better version of "Pilot" than the BBC one.
I was really impressed.
The characters are the same, the names are slightly different, it's just translated into American terms though the lines in essence were exactly the same.
Next episode is on Tuesday.
I can't wait.

Maybe to an american it was better (it's designed that way) ... but I prefer the original of the scenes that were directly copied.
Was still good tho - Stuff in jelly is always funny... even if they call it jello
I'm ENGLISH, I saw the British office and (obviously) liked it, but seeing the remake of Pilot noticed there are added extras. Even with the Americanisations (eg Camaro instead of TR, Jello instead of Jelly, name changes etc) it is still actually funny. So weighing it up I think it is slightly better.
Next week the series episodes become original, so it could go wrong, but given the good start it may actually be worth watching even if you are in Britain.
Saw the second episode. It's basically on the Training theme as the BBC version. Except it is "Diversity Training", and the whole office is only doing it because the Brent character did a Chris Rock sketch and upset the entire office. The trainer asks him to sign a form saying that the training was completed, which he refuses to do. Trainer then replies that his only mission was to train the boss, but trained the office so as not to embarass him.
The Brent character then decides to do his own version of training in the afternoon, and of course makes a total hash of it, and offends most of the employees in the process.
It was probably on a par to slightly better than the BBC episode, probably because Brent's guitar playing made me cringe to the point of almost hiding behind the sofa, and the NBC version didn't.

i fail to believe that the US version is better. Nothing could ever match the UK version. The only reason it worked in the UK version is the british sense of humour.
