Can the factory do a good job painting compl custom colours?
Discussion
I am trying to decide on a colour for my new car and I know that the factory says that they will paint metallic and pearlescent paint colours.
My question is can they do a good job on more unusual complex paints like McLaren Volcano orange, or Chevrolet Corvette Daytona Sunrise Orange?
Has anyone had the Caterham factory do a complex paint such as these with sucess?

I have had viper blue and two CSR's in plasma blue and excellent paintwork by CC. Re the paint protection definitely have it done, it is a no brainer. Armourfend is no longer available as far as I know but in any case, the protection to go for is state of the art Xpel which is self healing.

It will obviously not self heal after a major impact but it will smooth itself out after minor impacts from grit and surface dressing aggregates. It is sold in kits, I had the full kit fitted, which is side protection, front section of nose cone, front section of cycle wings and the popular front section of rear wings. The vulnerable area is still the section between the stone guards and the edge of the rear wings. I do wish CC would fit a stone guard that protected the full width of the rear wings, I think someone at Millwood makes such a product out of c/f.
