Evening all, at the risk that this has been done to death on a few occasions I need a little help please.
My 2004 996 4s is due new boots and I wounder what's the best rubber out there at the moment, it's a second car so no need to worry about tread patterns or depth and I don't use it for track days! I can get my hands on some Yokohama Advan a048 but realise they aren't very original or N rated, any advice please?

I use PS4s on my C2; they seem great. Not sure if you can get the right sizes for the C4S yet, though.
Continental SportContact 6 and Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3s also get very good reviews/results.
Yokohama Advan 105 is better than AO48, I believe.

Good luck!
