My hands fell off!

I just found one of the hands for my clock had fallen off.

I have no idea how long I have been with out one of my hands. I have the "stop watch" version where the main clock shows seconds and the secondary clock is the time like this



Apparently, the 2013 clocks had a habit of doing this. I spoke to my dealer and they joked "we make good engines but crap clocks". I am booked in for Friday to get a new one under warranty. I am glad I noticed it now as the warranty runs out in April.

I would have thought that in the case of 996/7, completely the converse was true!

hmmm. They have changed the clock but now it looks like this



They have told me it is the updated clock and mine is not made anymore. Is this correct? I am a little annoyed because I have this watch



And I like how both the watch and the clock have "60" at the top

I think this is the very definition of a first world problem.

I will admit when I posted the question regarding the difference in clocks, I was aware it was a little silly. That is why I included the watch to give it a little merit. However, it turns out my clock is the optional Sport Chrono which set the original owner back $800.

This changes things completely. First, I'm now out of an expensive upgrade. And second, my dealership lied. So, we have gone from something frivolous to something very serious in my mind.

Bet the dealer got in the expensive clock under warranty and then bought the boggo one for your car. Next customer that pays the expensive upgrade will be getting it straight from the dealer.
