Antonov at East Mids

Hi guys,

Just driven past East Midlands airport and saw the antonov being loaded. Does anyone know when this will be leaving as would like to go watch, or indeed any other interesting aircraft at East Mids?

Can't seem to find any info anywhere!!!

Not 100% but it may be the one that took an engine from Zurich to Iqaluit in Canada to rescue the Swiss International B777 that landed there after an engine failure at the start of February? I believe that one made for East Mids once the B777 was up and running again.

If you're local have a look at https://www.facebook.com/groups/EMASpotters/ apparently it was due to this evening but is delayed. Theres one in most weeks along with Hercs but its random. You may get some warning ie that day from FB
