Returning Lease Car
Discussion
Quick Q prior to phoning the company on Monday.
Due to hand the lease car back in May, however it's due an MOT 15 days prior to handing the car back. It's in the statutory obligations to put the car through the MOT prior to the date required, but it doesn't state who pays for the MOT?
In the main paragraph of the obligations it states that the customer is responsible, at it's own expense, for ensuring the condition of the vehicle complies with all legal requirements. - Does this mean I have to pay for the MOT?

On a similar note, I wonder is it possible to terminate a lease agreement just a few days before it's required a service (usually on the day/day before it's due to go back in a 2 year agreement) and save yourself the £150+?
It is. Or do the first service 1-4 weeks (usually the grace period) late. Not due when you hand back.Jonno02 said:

I meant specifically a 2 year service plan with a VWFS lease, so it would normally require one service just before it goes back. So I can just terminate my contract a couple of days before the service is due and save £150?Gassing Station | Car Buying | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
