Anyone had their Magnesium wheels refinished?

Hi All

Looking at my wheels today and noticed some coating coming off the wheels were the nut caps had been prised off by some clever dick!.

Wondered if anyone has had their Mags redone and if it was a success?

Could someone give me an idea of cost and maybe a good contact?

Hi,ive had my wheels done a couple of times on my vette over the years,i took them to micheldever tyres between B/stoke and winchester who sent them off to "Spit & Polish" at a cost of just over £200.
They blast them,machine them painted the inserts then laquered them,they only guarentee the laquer for 6 months tho.

Had my wheels done on my 98 what they did was put filler in them them painted the wheels thay could not match one wheel so had to paint both on one side about £100 for both the only problem was when putting new tyres on all the filler broke away had to have again both wheels done better off buying the mag wheel touch up at ecklers for $6.99! got my wheels done at auto body language in surrey.
