Stiff Rear Gear

Hi,
My mum has a 2004 BMW Mini Cooper S - with a six - speed manual gearbox - and complains that the rear gear is VERY stiff to engage.

Has anybody else suffered this problem? If so, how was it fixed?

i noticed gearbox is very stiff in mini cooper s work test drive.. maybe that is normal...

It may be normal................we have not driven another Cooper S.

cooper s cars never had this problem you probably have a BMW
