Undiagnosed injuries/illnesses, anyone else had one?
Discussion
I'm expecting some funny and some sobering reading but I wanted to share my most recent.
I went on a work's night out over two weeks ago now and managed to somehow fall over and bruise my chest and my side but also hurt my arm/hand/wrist which was in some pain - for example I had about 10% movement on the day after the fall. Then 20% and so on. I couldn't change gear on the car.
A week today (7 days since injury) I felt as though it was getting more comfortable to live with and whilst I was at my GF's she pulled my arm and we heard an almighty crack and I'd never felt pain like it. That prompted me to get it seen to.
After 10 days I succumbed to pressure from my GF/family/friends/colleagues and go and get an x-ray done. It transpired that I'd been living with a fractured wrist since the fall, and I'm due to get a cast on this week. Truth be told I knew all along that I'd broken a bone as it was so uncomfortable.
Weirdly enough I managed to service my car and remove the back wheels whilst having my fractured wrist.
Have any of you had a similar experience whether self-inflicted or not?

I had a heart attack about 6 years ago.
Taken to hospital by ambulance, loads of tests, etc., etc.
Cardiologist says my ticker is in bad shape due to my having had the previous heart attacks.
News to me, never had any before.
Seems I may have had them in my sleep and just woke up feeling really rough for a few days.

My sister goes in to have her back broken and reset next week. Apparently she broke two vertebrae during childbirth and has had 'sciatica' since. They're not sure which child broke her back, but her youngest is 9....
Got nothing on that.Broke my left arm snowboarding. Noticed it didn't feel right on a lift. Ran the entire mountain to get to the quack. Quack was having lunch.
Finally x-rayed 5 hours later and then casted. I thought it hurt. (I would point out the 'quack' was a consummate professional and set the arm perfectly with a tricky break).
Going boarding next week. Wish me luck.
Hurt my back loading bags of gravel into car at the garden centre. Hurt too much to breath properly by bedtime, ended up at emergency doc who diagnosed a sprained muscle and sent me home with codeine and Valium. A few days later when it was no better an osteopath popped my dislocated rib back into place, which cured things almost instantly.
Spent 18 years with being labelled clumsy and weak, as I was constantly hurting myself, falling over and twisting ankles, knees, wrists, you name it....then failed a medical examination for a summer job, turned out I had Marfans Syndrome, which can mean blindness and potential early death due to heart issues, thankfully I only have the skeletal issues, but it explained the near 2 years on crutches and no sports at school!
At the end of November 2015 I had a bit of food poisoning. On Thursday I threw up in bed so I got up with the aim going downstairs to lie on the sofa but the next thing I remember was waking up in intensive care on the following Monday seemingly I got as far as the toilet, passed out and then landed in the bath.
It turns out that I was in the early stages of type 1 diabetes and having food poisoning pushed me into diabetic ketoacidosis.
Whilst in hospital I got sepsis and as they were diagnosing that they found I had a pulmonary embolism which apparently had been there for a while.
Since being out of hospital they also found I have a form of dysautonomia which they think I have had since childhood but the either the sepsis or diabetes has made it much worse.
