2500M engine tuning

Just bought a 2500M with standard engine. What can done/who's the experts with these engines?

A friend with a GT 6 and using the Truimph 2,5 litre engine changed from Stromberg carburretors to SU H6. It needs another inlet manifold and some modifications to the mounting of the throttle cable. Triumph TR 4 driver clubs might have more experience with these engines.
