Look like late Talbot Alpine/Solara and would have had a full centre cap.
From memory would be 5 or 5 1/2 inch wide.
I'd agreeFrom memory would be 5 or 5 1/2 inch wide.
For sale, 1x set of Talbot Solara wheels! I guess the market may be quite narrow on this one....
Many thanks everyone.

I'm thinking those are metric wheels?
Some or all Metros had metric wheels - I remember a tyre fitter saying that people would come in for a tyres for their cheap Metro and be shocked how expensive the tyres were, because no one else used them. It's interesting that despite nearly all the world being metric, wheels have stayed imperial, fortunately I guess as I can still get cheap tyres for my 50s car! they'd cost an arm and a leg if everyone had gone metric!

I had an MG Montego that had metric wheels, only available from Dunlop or Michelin (cant remember which) and they were £130 each in 1988, after i wore the first set I wasn't so keen to show off doing burnouts (I was only 17 at the time)It's interesting that despite nearly all the world being metric, wheels have stayed imperial, fortunately I guess as I can still get cheap tyres for my 50s car! they'd cost an arm and a leg if everyone had gone metric!

At a glance, but look closer and they're cross-spokes.

They had 185-55-13 tyres, mega low profile for the time!
I always wanted some tyres in that size for Polo Coupe
