Guess What? Alternative rear lights again
Discussion
Finally got the back and front finished.
Looks stunning without the rubber bumper inserts IMHO
I have fitted small indicators in the front grill, pinched them out of my bike spares cupboard.
wonderfull day for blasting round the countryside. pity it got a bit dull when I stopped to take photos

Excellent colour!!

Looks great at the front, I think the back needs to be seen in real life before I decide. My bonnet is on the bench receiving the same treatment except I'm recessing VW Golf clear indicators back into the bumper after smoothing.
What are those door mirrors? I still can't find any that I like at a sensible price.

That looks the absolute nuts, I have similar plans for mine... but I reckon i'll just enjoy driving it this summer
Anyone able to roughly budget a respray in TVR flip paint? I like the purple/green colour. and think it would set the S off a treat.
How did you smooth everything off? Just fill it with fibreglass sheet and sand back? I take it the rear lights are the afterburner ones for whatever ford the back lights are from?

The lights aren't the ford afterburner ones, didnt like them and far too expensive. I got them from the link below. The brakes lights are LED in the chrome surround. Looks spot on IMHO

Mirrors are from
www.classic-car-accessories.co.uk/acatalog/
they were only £20, but you can tell that when up close.
I used a bridging mesh rather than fibreglass in the bumper recess. A whole lot easier to shape and fit.
Hopefully the 17" rims are coming in a couple of weeks, if money allows. {or wife,not sure which}
Thanks for all the comments,
good and bad. But it is nice when other people like what I have done. Hopefully i can get some sunny day picture soon
seems to attract birds of the wrong type, leaving their mess on my bonnet

Hi Tony,
I think you'll find Rochford very good, I bought my Wolfrace wheels from them and they were very good, arrived next day well packed and with new nuts and locks.
Love what you've done with the car, looks fab without the rubber and the lights look good too (IMHO). Your paintwork looks good, have you blended in the new areas or painted the entire panels?
I decided to respray the whole car again, i was concerned that trying to blend in the bumpers it would stand out a mile. After all, what else is there to do on cold dark damp nights.
Wife need not answer this one!
There is someone on PH hopefully buying the chim wheels this next month so will be ordering new ones as soon as. Car looks even better in the flesh-so to speak

I like the colour too, did you change it at all?
I can't say I've ever seen that exact type of blue before, it's very nice, is it a TVR colour?
Did you spray it at home or do you have access to a booth, do you fancy spraying another one?

And here's me thinking there is no such colour as a TVR colour,
then the question comes up. It is Trophy blue pearlescent, as sprayed on MGZR Rovers. As long as its only the colour and not the workings. Dont have a spray booth, all my work is done in my garage. When spraying, I always soak the floor with water to minimise dust. Also, I am far too tight to pay anyone
