Exhaust rear mountings

Thought that I would post this as a warning, cleaning the car the other day I noticed that the tailpipes were on a bit of a slant on investigation one of the rubber mounts had broken and the other was about to let go. It all seems that this was caused by the excess heat from the box the rubber was very brittle.
Some damage to the paintwork and one of the main studs to the undertray had broken loose but I had not expected this type of problem at 18 months now needs a bit of cosmetic work does anybody know of any thing similar to the alloy surrounds that Mr Freefall was selling as he is all sold out.

Hi Mark,
next time you see an Audi TT, take a look at the drilled alloy ring that surround's the gear stick, perhaps that might do.
