Bit of a long shot, but I thought I'd ask the PH collective before I head off to eBay for these...

My son has a number of "Bears" that are his comforter - He's had them for years and they're starting to look a bit gross. He knows he's got more than one so new ones shouldn't be a problem - So my question is, does anyone have any of these Mamas and Papas bear comforters kicking around at all in new condition (I'm more than happy to pay for them of course)?

(Note that these were when they weren't gross)

Thanks

JTW

Try contacting M&Ps directly as well.

Great family run Yorkshire company not far from you... wink

Thought the more gross and smelly these things are the more comfort they provide smile

My youngest has a soft rabbit toy, think it came from M&S, that if we ever lost it would be a nightmare (and she often leaves it lying around). It does take a trip through the washing machine every few weeks though and seems to keep it from getting too smelly biggrin

To be fair, he is being drawn off it anyway and it's now a bedtime thing - my daughter has the same thing (albeit a bunny which is also a bedtime/poorly thing)

It's the fact that it's so gross that's the problem smile

Can you not just wash it?

Our son has a spotty teddy that loves a good spin in the machine.

They've been washed. A lot. That's the problem, they've started falling apart and getting threadbare, the filling's coming out....

The picture above is a few months after acquisition. I don't have a picture of the crappy, unsightly mess that it is now.

my daughter has one that is falling to bits. has 2 new ones the same, won't entertain them. the old one goes everywhere. the arms have been amputated now! holes are getting so big now that it can't be stitched together. needs patching now.
