I'm sure Tom would like to be called 'slim' but, ..ahem, that wouldn't be a particularly accurate description...
p.s. great photos rico. I preferred it in yellow, but I can't say I'd be too fussy.

Bedford autodrome Friday...There were actually 3 of them there 2 yellows and 1 silver. One of the Yellow ones must have had a fruity exhuast it sounded like an F1 car - all be it slightly quieter...There were about 10! GT3RS's too infact it was very much a Porsche fest. See www.theratpac.com for some photo's we'll take a few days to get them all up.

Are you sure?
I was with the RS guys and one said there were only 2 yellow carreraGTs in the world.
I'm 99.9% sure there was only one yellow cGT there, making two in total with the silver one.
The reason for all the Porsches was they went with fastrak www.fastrakdays.com

You might be right, there was so much going on, I'm sure one sounded louder that the other. But it could have been the same car, I'll check back though the photo's. To be honest one I my party said there were two yellows ones, I never actually saw them parked together or anything.

I was near the tyre fitters when you arrived. I thought "i'm sure those guys are ratpac" but wasn't sure.
Obviously it was and I feel a fool for not saying hello. Oh well, next time.
Did we look a little lost? We were trying to hook-up with Johnathan in the Radical but they wouldn't let us drive to the pit lane (something about insurance). Do say Hi! next time. Great pictures as always BTW

Great pics rico, if you've more images, i'll happily put them on www.theRATPAC.com (send me private msg). That goes for any other people who want to have some images who was there on sat.
I couldn't believe how many GT3RS's were there. I was fortunate to have a few laps in the SR3 Radical, jesus that thing is like on rails!!, the breaking, cornering, on the straights my lid (borrowed was sucking up)lol. Definitely would love to get one. Coming out of the corners right behind a GT3RS or Carrara GT, with no windshield, bits of rubber flying up is a defo cross of the list of things to do. Wish I had taken a camera on, but holding up would have proved difficult, due to the grip that SR3 has. Thanks to Jonathan for taking me out.

I was asked by the owner to drive one of the cars at Lemans Bugatti last year. The owner asked me to drive it hard and on one lap the car went into oversteer at the end of the pit straight under braking into the complex. The intial braking speed there was approximately 180mph. We went through the complex sideways as I tried to scrub off some speed and the thing only sorted itelf out half way down the hill. It seemed like about an hour but the whole thing probably lasted no more than 10 seconds. Once I collected the car, the owner casually turned to me and said quietly 'well done Steve'.
He is an amazing man and it is an amazing car. I will never forget it.

That was the same 'yellow' Carrera GT that was at Bedford last Friday and it was good to see him driving it so many laps on the day. Isn't it good to see someone with such as special car actually 'using' it?
p.s. there was just one yellow CGT present on Friday and 2 CGTs in total.
Yes Steve, it was that car. The owner is a friend of mine who has many years experience of high level racing. I agree, it is great to see the car doing what it was designed for. It is a great shame that so many of these cars and 911RS's are closeted away and never used in anger. Dr F.P would turn in his grave....
