Birthday present
Discussion
Hit the half century next week & SWMBO still wants ideas for a present (I'm not much help) so putting it out to the PH massive.
Budget £100 - £150
Some don'ts:-
Watch - really not into them as a fashion accessory or gadget (fitbit for example)
Track days/driving experience - have done JP days in the past & both my cars are more powerful than most of the cars used for '3 lap' driving experiences so not bothered about those either
Not a drinker so Whisky/booze is pointless
Don't smoke so no nice cigar/lighter
Hobbies:-
My cars/cars
fitness/gym/football (still playing 5 aside or at least will get back to it shortly when my current knee injury allows)
Over to you guys.
TIA

Coke and hookers, although may be beyond budget.
Failing that (some folk can be fussy), overnight stay in top hotel including meal at resident Michelin starred restaurant.
Don't be like me and say, jokingly - slippers (baffies). I received 20-odd pairs of these at my 40th birthday bash. Much mirth ensued...

Cooking lesson - I went to Rick Steins seafood school a few years ago and met the man himself. Was a great day
Actually had thought of something like this. Currently don't cook AT ALL but there's a new programme that takes non cooks & they prepare a surprise gourmet meal for their family/loved ones which had me thinking.Winky151 said:

Similarly, I bought my dad a curry cooking course that is run by his favourite local indian restaurant, and as much as he had enjoyed making curry in the past, and knew most of it, this taught him some new things he had't done before.

For that sort of money there will probable be a huge tome about the history of Vauxhall (going off your profile). In fact, give it a few months and you might be able to pick up one of the factories.
There's a book by a chap called Eric Dymock for a whopping £24.99 all about Vauxhall. I wouldn't recommend it. I won a copy in a raffle one year (At the VBOA show, so it was relevant) but it went to a charity shop not long after.

Mind you I don't think Hugh Grant or Wayne Rooneys hookers cost anything like £100.
