Chris Neil - no longer authorised TVR dealer?

Just read this in the News section on HL Gorner's site:

"LATEST NEWS (11th March 2005)

With Christopher Neil no longer being authorised TVR dealers, we’ve had several phone calls from concerned TVR owners in Cheshire and Merseyside enquiring about their options for parts and servicing......."

I haven't read anything about this on PistonHeads. I know that there was talk about Chris Neils having been 'put on notice' a while back due to their Noble links, but I thought that that issue had gone away when PW left.

Nothing on Chris Neil's web site & I understand that they have just taken delivery of a Sagaris demonstrator (see ad in latest Sprint).

Anyone know any more?

don,t know about chris neil but do know that one of his top techs. has started up on his own at a fraction of the hourly rates of a main tvr agent. his names ian and his tel. is 01606831244. have already used him and will be travelling up from w.ton in may for some more work on my chim. peter

There was a thread here recently that mentioned the fact that CN was no longer a main dealer...can't find it now when searching for some reason.

1 or 2 other dealers have also been "persuaded" into taking Sagaris...even though 1 in particular, off the record, had already given TVR notice of termination.

It remains to be seen if they rejoin the fold or officially part company...although I gather they have already parted company with their colour chart/interior spec literature !
