Griffith no start

Hello, help please,
Went to start the griff this morning and it turns over but it didn't fire up. Fuel pump goes into action no probs, battery is fully charged, fuses have been checked. Did a bit of fault invest and it seems theres no voltage to the coil !. It was working fine yesterday and i've had no probs in the past. Could it be that the ignition module is knackered and if so wheres the best place to get one ?. Also having probs on figuring out the wiring from the battery and so on as the bible shows the wires going to some form of terminal block and no link after that, does anybody know the correct configuration, from where to where etc?.

it could well be the module,however it could also be anything else connected to power before it.you dont say which model you have?and there are different modules dependant on this.the later cars have a module mounted alongside the coil and the original is a lucas item.earlier cars have one mounted on the distributor i believe,and i'd be surprised if lucas dont do one of these either.my local motorfactors can test ignition modules so you dont buy unnecesarily,maybe yours do?its worth remembering that diagnosis by replacement can prove costly if your not lucky!sorry i cant be of more help,but at least your threads back at the top of the forum,so maybe somebody else can help?

Cheers for the replies, its a 94 pre serp 500. did abit more fault invest and found incorrect readings at my ECU, bad news!. Opened it up and found pins 14 & 40 Fried, resoldered these and refitted it but still not quite what i was hoping for. Unfortunatley it looks like some of my chips might have gone. Do you think someone like mark adams could bench test it for me ?, so i can confirm this rather than shell out for a new ECU.
