So, after 11 months of ownership, decided to do something about the swirls:

Invested in a DAS 6, from cleanyourcar.co.uk, as part of a kit including pads and some Menzerna polish.

Spent yesterday washing, claying and cleansing bodywork.

Today, got on with the polishing.

After one go (three alternating cross hatch passes) using the Menzerna 3 500 on the supplied black (soft) pad:

Seem to be pretty much gone to me, so completed rest of body in same fashion, then got on with waxing using Autoglym HD wax (was going to use Gyeon Mohs, but have to work outside & weather not good enough of it to cure properly, so the HD wax will do for next 3 months or so):

Good work chap. A solid red like that can be unforgiving when it comes to swirls but looks like you've done a good job on them. smile
