Hi Guys,

Just a quick question regarding the size of the fuel tanks. Anyone managed to actually get 75 litres in to the tank??

The table below shows the average figures I've been getting since I bought her.

Tank
Guage DTE Litres put in @ Pump
====== ==== ====================
Full 440 -
3/4 310
1/2 220
1/4 100 ~40
Empty 25(!) 55

(DTE = Distance To Empty)

Note: The values shown are when driving to the maximum fuel efficiency table as shown in the owners manual (or as close as possible)

Is this about right or is my fuel measurement device incorrect? From these figures, I'm about 15-20 litres out.

If anyone can tell me what DTE values you get from a full tank, this would help.

TIA

DTE is based on driving style and a prediction based on averages of speed and fuel used throttle position etc. It is all a bit of an in exact science try driving around in 5th or 6th in a 40 zone and watch the DTE go up! I normally get 340 miles DTE but that is because I live on the Isle of Wight and don’t get much opportunity to open the old girl up.

If you hold the mode and up button while turning the car on, then releasing the buttons you will get a list of things on your display by then i think pressing the mode button while the car is running. One of them is how much the computer thinks is in your tank. Can show you next time we catch up if it doesn't work for you.
