I should probably know the answer to this however...
When buying something in Singapore dollars, say today, whats the best was or figuring out the GBP cost? I'll be using a credit card.
Just a simple google conversion?
Asking as there looks to be a 10% benefit of buying from singapore rather than UK... maybe.
Thanks

It really does depend on what sort of value you are talking about. If it's just £1,000 then you are looking at saving £100 on the purchase of the item but spending more on the conversion and courier plus increasing the general transaction risks. If it's £100,000 then you might well be saving a few thousand but you still have transaction risk. And then there are any taxes to consider.
If it is a relatively common item then there is rarely any true gain as markets do price pretty efficiently for risk.
