Cosworth YBG Green top tuning

I was wanting to give my Sapphire Cosworth engine a birthday as it's running a bit lumpy, as its now perceived as "old school" any suggestions on an "old school" tuner that can breath a bit more life back into the old girl? Willing to travel for the right job.

I would make the trip and see Andrew Gallagher down at Moorfield motor control at Kilmarnock

Also known at agmotorsport knows the cossie engines inside out and has built Charlie shaws to 1000bhp used to be his. If you remember the 2 focus that dominated Knockhill for few year

AG would get the nod from me, or if your east coast nip in and spec to Roy and Clive and RJM in Glenrothes were great when I was over that way 15 years ago with RS turbos and cossies

Andy Gallagher never built Charlie Shaws engine, never built his own either, both were built by Harvey Gibbs at SCS. Andy does know the cosworth engine though.
Cosworth tuning in Scotland has taken a severe dip as there's not enough of them to make real money at it now. If I was looking st a rebuild, I'd put it on a pallet and send it away, SCS, mark shead or MSD.
AVA in Glasgow done my mates one last year but th car still,hasn't been built back up so can't vouch for the outcome.

John Muir of MV Turbos fame?

I believe he's up near Kinross now and will take on such work but have never used him personally, but local opinion is he's one of the best.
