I won on Wednesday,inside Ford Heritage centre.

Today,about 25 pairs of PHers were invited,by winning the Wednesday raffle ,inside the not open to the public Heritage centre.
Its NOT a museum,cars are packed in quite tightly,nearly all are unlocked and we were allowed to sit in them,open bonnets,etc.
None of the usual "Don't touch " signs.
Most of the cars are road worthy and are used on tv,loaned to journalists,taken to shows and events.

Little known fact.....This Taunus Transit used the Transit name before the Mk1 we are familiar with.

It was a very nice morning out ,a bit like a PH Sunday Service but for only 25 cars.
There was a food van parked at the far end of the building with free sausage,bacon etc rolls and the
Ford staff were very welcoming and chatted about all the aspects of the centre.
As with all manufacturer collections there is a whole lot of other cars in a separate area, in reserve.
