Hey everybody would just like to say hello 
I'm Dan and have been a member on here for quite some time without actually realising but have not actually created a post but have been attending meetings so thought perhaps now would be a good time, I couldn't see a newbie section so hopefully this is okay!
ill go through my current and previous car history for you guys now, so you can get a taste of how crazy I am
I started my driving life in this at 17, a 1.4 206 LX, was a very good car to learn in and start off in being a mad petrolhead I wanted something ridiculous but due to insurance costs I had to settle for this.
Then after 5 months i moved up a bit well could be classed as a step down in some peoples minds haha into this a woman's ford
A 1.6 Sport Ka, done a few light mods to that, colour coded the door handles, lowered it slightly
After owning the KA for about 5 months then turning 18 insurance had gone down so felt i could moved onto bigger and better things
Unfortunately after 7 months of ownership it was written off by and artic lorry
After that happened the only logical step for me at the time was to buy the Gti180 model as soon as I got my insurance pay out I went out and purchased this completely standard so in the 2 years i owned it I transformed the car to what ive been told to be 1 of the nicest examples of a Gti 180 around, i had changed the headlights to genuine valeos masked, the wheels refurbished in anthracite about 2 months before i sold her i fitted her with Avo 30 way adjustable coilovers for a few trackdays i did, polybushed all the parts that were available to change, uprated the brakes i had a set of 406 brembos to fit but never got round to it before she left, 24mm rear antiroll bar, janspeed exhaust system and quite a few other things
After owner the Gti180 for around 16 Months in-between modifying it and working hard I managed to save up enough to buy my childhood dream car so on my 21st birthday I went out and bought this totally original low millage 2005 Impreza Sti PPP with 301bhp ive since had the power increased so its now running a measly 375Bhp
And how she sits now after just over 1 year, i have not done to much to this as i dont want to go ott! all i have done is fit the mandatory pink subaru badge, Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust system, Brought a set off Speedline Prodrive alloys, lowered it abit, upgraded all the suspension parts so it handles perfectly on track
While owning the Subaru I wanted something cheaper I could use on track and abuse without worrying about expensive repair bills, So I picked myself up a Clio 172 Cup and what a brilliant car it turned out to be, Owned it for about 3 years spent lot of money creating a brilliant quick fun car,
Short spec as followed, 197 Brembo brakes, Quaife LSD, AST 5100 Coilovers, RARB, Full Polybush, Seraphical rear beam bearings, Cup racer seat
However in March 2016 her life came to an end when on a track day at 100Mph the pressure plate made a bid for freedom and after having put 2 engines into the car we decided to get rid and source a new car
This is what I replace my 172 Cup with in April and swapped all the parts from my 172 over to this 182
In December 2014 I knocked my head and decided to sell the Subaru for a nice economical car, I settled for a E92 335D and unfortunately for me the modifying didn't stop it just got more expensive! Bought a standard Pre Lci 335d and then set about installing a set of Lci rear lights, E46 M3 CSL discs along with E92 M3 DS3000 pads, M3 lower control arms, Genuine M3 carbon spoiler, Genuine M3 Competition wheels, Quaife LSD, KWv3 coilovers
After owning the Bmw for about 15 Months I decided I wanted another Subaru and went for something slightly different to what I set out to buy, a Hatch Sti fully forged on KWv3 Coilovers, Custom OZ Ultra alloy wheels
After having that for around 6 Months I wanted to do something I never thought I ever would and go over to the darkside and I purchased an Evo and boy am I glad I did what an absolutely fantastic car have spent quite a lot of money on this car but it has been worth it I have no made it into what is possibly the best car I have owned and probably will own.

Nice history there! You don't keep them very long do you lol... to he honest I used to be the same, swapping every year for something new. But now I'm tending to keep my cars a few years. I hate modifying to perfection then just moving on! Want to enjoy them a bit nowadays

Oh really I didn't notice another Evo there! Yeah sorry I had a lot on yesterday so just popped along to show my face and dragged the old man along.Next month if your there we'll have a chat

I can still rem when I had mine done, night and day difference.
They are amazing, it had completely transformed the car to me only last month I was thinking of chopping it in for an e92 M3 comp / M4 or GTR but now it honestly not going anywhere the way the handles and corners now I don't think any of them will give me the fun I can have with the Evo nowI can still rem when I had mine done, night and day difference.

I really do not i get bored way to easily with cars, have my fun and want to try something else but think I am slowly getting better at keeping them, wouldn't have sold the Subaru soo soon if my friend wasn't selling the Evo, How did you find the Subaru hatch overall? The hatch was a great car, extremely practical, lovely to drive, power delivery was super smooth pulled from 1800rpm all the way to 7500rpm didn't feel like you was going fast at all
With the kw's fitted it would hold the road fantastically the only draw back and it was a major set back to me was the steering feel it was just soo vague was like you want steering on Ice i did have the rack revised the weight it up abit and that made it nicer but was still not 100% if you understand what I mean.
But overall a great car

Yeah it caused so much expensive damage, the gearbox had only recently been fully rebuilt and Quaife fitted and shimmed was devastated when it happened I wasn't even driving the car
Lucky the lsd was undamaged through some miricle!

Black Is a great colour for the Evo! The power delivery is like nothing else I've driven if your uncles has a twinscroll turbo fitted it just pulls from 2k right up to 7800rpm with an almighty thump in the back at 4K It's running around 410 estimated need to get it on the dyno to find out for sure as it was live mapped on the road
It overboost to 1.85 and holds at 1.6 just going by other Evo figures with same mods and similar boost figure they are all around the same power so that's what I'm hoping mine is
Ideally I want to keep it as it is, and just enjoy it as it's usable in all aspects perfect for B road blasting and motorway cruising and track days

Haha yeah he has a point unless it's been forged previously avoid or budget getting it done! You can get lucky and find an EJ257 that will give you problems, very unlikely though but once forged they're fine!

Dan, I wasn't in the Evo that's why you didn't see it! You parked up next to one of my other cars,(the red one).Next month if your there we'll have a chat
