It depends on what type of fun you want, I'd pick the CLK55 as it's fast & robust I'd pick the coupe over the convertible.

And if you want some wafty barge type fun the the later CL500 is well worth a look & I'd say you'd struggle to beat it for that sense of occasion all the windows down & the roof open.
