Nearly ready to lift the body off (all bolts out and chassis separated from body) and place it on a dolly. Was planning to lift with two engine hoists lifting from under the inner arches in the engine bay (nice and thick fibreglass) and from a plank in the boot as seen elsewhere on the forum.

Now it might just be because I haven't done this before but the fibreglass in the boot area where the plank would go doesn't seem overly thick?

Would anybody like to share any re-assurances / tips ?

Thanks

I did the 4x2 in the boot on mine with no issues, just make sure it is as long as it can be to spread the load

I did't like the amount of creaking and flexing I saw when I tried to lift using a timber in the boot so I changed tactic before I did any damage.
