I'm probably going to be changing my car over the coming months and will be spending mid 20s on a replacement, up to maybe a year or so old.
Top of the list at the moment is an E350 diesel coupe, haven't really considered getting a petrol one or looking to see what is available , but I keep reading snippets where people say that a diesel isn't worth it unless you are doing 20k plus a year.
I'm probably going to be doing 10k max.
I like diesels because of the economy and low down torque.

Should I avoid diesel and if so why ?

In general if you're doing over 12k per year then consider a diesel anything below that then I'd say a petrolis a must.
